Why sleep problems are so hard to solve

Poor sleep is rarely just a sleep problem. In most cases, it is the symptom of an overdriven nervous system — a body stuck in stress mode, unable to shift into recovery mode, even at night. The mind races. Muscles stay tense. The transition into deep, restorative sleep is blocked.

Sleep hygiene advice — avoiding screens, keeping regular hours, cutting caffeine — is useful but often insufficient on its own, because it doesn't address the underlying state of the nervous system that is preventing sleep. You can follow every rule and still lie awake for hours.

Chakra balancing is one of the most reliable interventions I know for sleep problems. It directly activates the parasympathetic nervous system — giving the body the physiological signal it needs to truly rest. Many clients sleep better the very night of their first session.

How energy healing restores natural sleep

During a chakra balancing session, your body enters a state of deep relaxation — often deeper than what most people reach before falling asleep. Many clients actually fall asleep on the treatment table. This state teaches the nervous system that it is safe to let go — and that experience carries forward into the following nights.

Remote sessions are particularly well suited for sleep problems: you receive the session at home in the evening, in your own environment, and can fall asleep directly afterwards.

Night 1

Most clients sleep longer and more deeply after the first session. Night wakings decrease.

Weeks 1–2

Sleep becomes more regular. The mind settles at bedtime. Morning heaviness begins to lift.

Follow-up

Natural sleep rhythms re-establish themselves. Energy improves. Dependence on sleep aids gradually decreases.

Why can't I fall asleep even when I'm exhausted?

Because the problem isn't sleep — it's your nervous system. When it stays in prolonged stress mode, it can't shift into rest mode, even when you're worn out. That's the cycle energy healing is designed to interrupt.

Does chakra balancing really help with insomnia?

Yes. It's one of the areas where results are among the most immediate and consistent. The vast majority of clients sleep better the night after their first session.

Where do in-person sessions take place?

Yes. I offer in-person sessions at the Benissa practice. Evening remote sessions are also very effective for sleep problems and can be scheduled at a time that suits you.
